Grow Heathrow
Design + Construction, 2011-2012

For £40 and using a range of salvaged materials from site, I designed and built a hut in which I lived for one year, as part of the cological plant nursey Grow Heathrow, a site which was occupied in resistance to the Airport’s proposed third runway. The project lasted 10 years and the runway was eventually, after much resistance, cancelled. As a resident of Grow Heathrow I was also involved in the construction of a haybale house, wind turbine construction and eviction resistance infrastructure.
